Sometimes we just need this little reminder to come and slap us on the side of the head…..ya know what mean?
Finding a Location for Destiny Point
We are having our 5 year anniversary on October 25. Through the years of having Destiny Point at a convent in Rudolph, we came to know many wonderful people from St Philip Church and were blessed to have the Grotto Gardens in our backyard. We are sad to see us needing to move! But, when one door closes another one will open and are thanking God for the wonderful plan that He has in store for Destiny Point and the hurting women that walk through those doors! We appreciate all of our longtime supporters the new ones that have come on board, and those who are yet to come! God loves to work through people and United we will see this plan fulfilled! Deb Cleworth from the Wisconsin Rapids Tribune did a wonderful write-up about Destiny Point! CALLING ALL PRAYER INTERCESSORS!
God is on the move! And He has called us to do the same here at Destiny Point. St. Philip Church’s Convent, the home of Destiny Point Women’s Restoration Home since our beginning six years ago is needed by St Phillip for other purposes. This leaves us with a 90 day period to relocate.
Excitement and expectation are in the air! We know God is able and the vision He has given to help hurting women heal has yielded much fruit. We are asking you to join us in this new beginning in any and all ways possible. Thru prayer, serving and support you can partner with us in this crucial time.
We are asking for fervent specific prayer for all involved. The Intercessors pave the way for God to move. We appreciate supporters from all over the world taking time to pray with us. If God is placing it on your heart to pray for the ministry of Destiny Point please copy the of the Prayer Sheet at the following link: Prayer Sheet. Thank you and God Bless!
I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my (Destiny Point’s) behalf—Roman 15:30
Words cannot express how thankful we are to all the wonderful people that gave of your time and resources to make April 5, a very difficult day of mourning Ashley’s death, into a day of comforting and even a day to celebrate her promotion into heaven and all the memories that she gave us! (“Ashley’s Obituary” “Memories of Ashley’s Facebook Page”) Thank you Good News Fellowship Church and especially Pastors Matt and Deb Mallek for the beautiful memorial service that you did…your compassion showed the true nature of Jesus Christ! We are so thankful to all those involved in making all the arrangements for the funeral, for recruiting and scheduling the many volunteers to help make this day go as smoothly as possible!
To the many friends, family and some people we didn’t even know that came together throughout this month and gave of the your time, resources, prayed, made meals, laughed with us and cried with us… we can never fully express how much your sacrificial giving of yourselves mean to Steve, their Ryan, Ashley’s parents and Steve’s family! We are so thankful to Plover’s Walmart for all the food that they donated, and for all the expressions of love from all of Ashley’s friends and co-workers that she had through working there!
We can’t forget the chain reaction of prayers that bombarded Heaven the moment that we received the call on April 1st that something was wrong. Prayers are continuing even to this day! Just as prayers have been said for us, we are praying for you also, for comfort and peace.
We do not know the answers and may never know why Ashley and their unborn daughter Briana unexpectantly and quietly slipped from us so soon in their lives. But we can know the One who holds them now. We can call upon the Lord Jesus and He is faithful… “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27 NLT. Just call out to Him… “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint”. Isaiah 40:31 (NIV). God bless all of you and thank You!
